International Islamic Institute for Sustainability (IIIS) is a not-for-profit organisation aimed at spreading the knowledge of sustainability in all spheres of life. It was founded by sheikh Hassan Pedersen in 2010.
We are in the process of creating a network of teachers and consultants who will assist humanity to get back on a track of living in harmony with nature rather than in domination and destruction of nature.
With the growing problems related to peak oil, plastic, waste, medicine, food and economy there is a tremendous need for each individual to learn how to create their own sustainable living environment.
The IIIS have created courses and e-learning programs intended for people who want to develop a working knowledge of the various areas of sustainability and who want to do so with peer and facilitator support.
We are offering all our course program on site at our institute, as distance learning as well as courses we conduct worldwide. These courses vary in duration from weekend long seminars up to 2 years diploma. Contact us to inquire about the ongoing classes and courses at the institute.
Become an Instructor/Consultant
With the possibility of environmental/economical and energy collapse in the near future there is a great need for instructors and consultants to spread the knowledge of sustainability.
Those who wish to become instructors must go through the certificate course and then apply for instructor status.
